Intro to Handgun

Service Description

This class is for those new to handguns or those that have had no formal training. You will build your knowledge of handguns, develop your handgun fundamentals and learn firearms safety. You will learn to safely operate your firearm and become more confident in your ability to do so effectively. This is a great class for those that have not had training and are planning on attending other HCTG classes or will be pursuing their LTC. (This class will be held outdoors on a private range. Ammo will need to be purchased prior to arriving for class) *SERPA STYLE HOLSTERS & LEATHER HOLSTERS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN OUR CLASSES* Equipment Requirements: • Semi-Auto handgun • 3 Magazines (minimum) • 200 Rounds of ammunition • Quality outside or inside the waistband holster • Eye & ear protection • Proper clothing (no open toe shoes or sandals, low-cut tops or tank tops) • Water & snacks Recommended Gear: • Weather appropriate clothing: hot / cold weather (i.e. hats, jackets, gloves) • Sunscreen if desired • Any needed medical equipment or medication • Firearms related equipment (extra mags, extra ammo, cleaning equipment)
