Intro to Tactical Rifle

Service Description

This class is for those new to carbine / rifle platforms or those that have had little formal training. You will build your knowledge of carbine / rifles, develop your fundamentals and learn firearms safety. You will be taught how to properly sight in your rifle. You will learn to safely operate your firearm and become more confident in your ability to do so effectively. This is a great class for those that have not had a lot training or are planning on attending other HCTG rifle classes. (This class will be held outdoors on a private range. Ammo will need to be purchased prior to arriving for class) Equipment Requirements: • Semi-Auto carbine or rifle • 200 rounds of ammunition • 2 magazines minimum (Magazine pouch recommended) • Quality sling (Two point sling recommended) • Eye & ear protection • Proper clothing (no open toe shoes or sandals, low-cut tops or tank tops) • Water & snacks Recommended gear: • Weather appropriate clothing: hot / cold weather (ie hats, jackets, gloves) • Sun screen if desired • Any needed medical equipment or medication • Firearms related equipment (extra mags, extra ammo, cleaning equipment)
