Service Description

The Texas License To Carry Class (LTC) is for those looking to obtain their LTC. While permit-less carry is available in Texas, there are more benefits to carrying with an LTC. On top of the benefits, you are still responsible for understanding the states laws regarding carrying a firearm in public. This class is still very important as it teaches you the information needed to help keep you from facing legal issues. THIS CLASS IS NOT A FIREARMS TRAINING CLASS. You need to know how to safely operate your firearm prior to class. If you have not shot your firearm regularly or have not had any training, we suggest that you attend our Intro To Handgun Class or book one of our private lessons prior to taking this class. (The range portion of this class will be held outdoors on a private range. Ammo will need to be purchased prior to arriving for class or you can purchase ammo from us onsite for $30 a box. Please let us know if you are purchasing ammo from us in an email, and which caliber you will need.) Equipment Requirements: • Semi-Auto handgun • 2 Magazines (Do not load magazines prior to class as there is a specific course of fire) • 100 Rounds of ammunition (Only 50 rounds is needed for qualifying, but bring additional ammo incase you need to re-qual) • Eye & ear protection • Proper clothing (no open toe shoes or sandals, low-cut tops or tank tops) • Water & snacks Recommended gear: • Weather appropriate clothing: hot / cold weather (ie hats, jackets, gloves) • Sun screen if desired • Any needed medical equipment or medication
